Andrew Shipley

Andrew Shipley serves as TZG’s Legislative Assistant. He provides support for the firm’s lobbyists on a wide range of projects and does comprehensive bill tracking for TZG clients.  In addition, he attends legislative committee hearings and prepares policy memos and identifies pertinent news and press releases to clients.  Andrew also assists with the development and execution of the firm’s social media content and engagement strategies.

Prior to joining TZG, Andrew served as a Staff Assistant to Congressman Tom Kean, Jr. (NJ-7). In that role, Andrew regularly interacted with constituents to explain complex legislation and to help resolve issues they had with federal agencies. He also assisted in organizing and staffing events for the Congressman and represented Congressman Kean at awards ceremonies, constituent services events, and programs with local officials.

Andrew also completed a valuable internship with the Global Business Alliance (GBA), an advocacy organization of international companies in the United States that encourages companies to invest in America.  Andrew tracked and analyzed legislation, attended legislative hearings, and prepared briefing memoranda for staff.

On the campaign trail, Andrew served as a volunteer for Congressman Kean’s election campaigns. Additionally, he provided campaign support for a state auditor candidate in Massachusetts. 

Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross. He is also an Eagle Scout.
