KZG Announces Effective November 1, 2021, Adam Kaufman Will Step Down From Kaufman Zita Group

KZG announced today, effective November 1, 2021, Adam Kaufman will be stepping down from Kaufman Zita Group, marking the end of a chapter in his long and impactful career in New Jersey politics and government.

As Adam and Trish explained to clients and colleagues, three years ago, Trish and Adam put in place a multi-year succession plan and that process has concluded.

“I could not be more proud of what we, together with the fantastic people who work with us, have built over the past fourteen years – there is simply not a more talented, dedicated, and hard-working group of public-affairs professionals anywhere, said Adam Kaufman. Trish has been the managing partner for our firm, guiding us through this successful journey, and I have no doubt that the future of the firm will be even brighter than its past.  I wish this team and the tremendous group of clients it serves nothing but continued success.”

“I am so grateful to Adam, and I am incredibly proud of what we were able to build and accomplish together over the past several years,” said Trish Zita.  “Adam has not only been a partner, but a great friend and leader who has inspired me, and all of us at KZG, to provide the highest level of client service.  Adam always generously provided his wise guidance, mentorship and keen political insight not just to his clients but to all of us, and we are better for it.  While we will surely remain in each other’s lives, we will miss our daily dose of his sharp wit, wonderful sense of humor and good nature.  We wish him all the best and are excited for him to enjoy his next chapter in life.”

Trish Zita will become the full equity partner in the firm making Kaufman Zita Group the first and only woman-owned firm among the largest lobbying firms in Trenton.
